Alaska Fishing - Upper Kenai River Drift Trip

Alaska is world renowned for fishing, whether salmon fishing, halibut fishing, fresh or saltwater fishing, ice fishing, fly fishing and more.

Spend the day floating the upper Kenai River out of Cooper Landing. You will be floating with an experienced Guide through some of the most breath taking scenery the Kenai River has to offer. It is not uncommon to see Bald Eagles, Moose, Brown Bear and Black Bear on your Drift Trip. It is a very easy float with Class 1 waters.

Depending on the month that you are here you will be fishing for Red Salmon, Silver Salmon, the giant Kenai Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. Rainbows in the 10 to 15 lb. range are not uncommon in the Kenai River.

There are several methods of fishing and all top of the line equipment is supplied by your guide. This is an excellent trip for the novice fly fisherman just learning or the expert. Spinning gear can also be used.

Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden are strictly catch and release on this trip.
